About

Hi, I’m Ömer. I make games, mostly the part you can feel: controls, timing, physics, juice and the many small systems that make a game satisfying to play.

I’ve been doing this for more than 10 years. I started on the racing sim RaceRoom in Skövde, built an MMO pool game, VR and AR prototypes, simulators and a lot of mobile games in Ankara, co-founded Polyfun Games and shipped Dynamic Shooting VR and a Nintendo Switch port of A Night at the Races. Most recently I was a senior game programmer at Resolution Games in Stockholm, building multiplayer games for Meta Quest and Snap Spectacles.

Talks

I gave a talk on Game Feel (Oyun Hissi, in Turkish) at Kodla 2019. Watch it on YouTube.

Off the clock

I’m a demoscener in the group Resident (nick: tesla), I do game jams whenever I can, and I put small games and experiments on itch.io. Some of the source is on GitHub.
